The
2021-22 edition of the Champions Hockey League starts officially today with the draw of the Groups
After the cancellation of last season due to Covid outbreak, 32 teams from Europe will take part in this season competition. 24 of those have been drawn into six groups, the remaining eight were put in two separate groups (G and H) due to the coincidence with the dates of the Olympic qualifiers at the end of August
Here the Groups:
Group A: Sparta Prague (Czech Republic), TPS Turku (Finland), Penguins Bremerhaven (Germany), Växjö Lakers (Sweden)
Group B: BK Mladá Boleslav (Czech Republic), IFK Helsinki (FInland), ZSC Lions (Switzerland), Frölunda Indians (Sweden)
Group C: Cardiff Devils (Great Britain), Lausanne HC (Switzerland), Adler Mannheim (Germany), Lukko Rauma (Finland).
Group D: EV Zug (Switzerland), Rögle Ängelholm (Sweden), Red Bull Munich (Germany),SønderjyskE Vojens (Denmark)
Group E: Tappara Tappere (Finland), HC Lugano (Switzerland), Skellefteå AIK (Sweden), Eisbären Berlin (Germany).
Group F: HC Fribourg-Gottéron (Switzerland) Yunost Minsk (Belarus), Oceláři Třinec (Czech Republic), Leksands IF (Sweden)
Group G: Kac Klagenfurt (Austria), Rouen Dragons (France), Rungsted Seier Capitals (Denmark), HC Donbass Donet'sk (Ukraine)
Group H: HC Bolzano (Italy), Red Bull Salzburg (Austria), FRisk Asker (Norway), JKH GKS Jastrzębie (Poland)
