Despite the Covid restrictions, finally Iran realize the first tournament for men and women
This tournament was held in IranMall ice rink (the Icebox) from March 6th to March 9th.
The Iranmall is one of the biggest malls in the world and located on west of Tehran, near the Chitgar lake and the ice rink has the official size of 30x60, which makes it the only Olympic size rink in the whole country with 450 spectator seats and 2500 standing area around the rink and different floors of the mall.
The tournament started on 6th of march with 4 men teams and 3 women teams under the direct management of Iran's Skating federation & the ice hockey association
In both tournaments, Online Tire Tehran was crowned champion. See all results here (men) and here (women)
After the competition, the technical staff of the national team selected 5 of the best players to be invited to the national team
In 2016 Eurohockey interviewed Iran National Team headcoach Kaveh Sedghi and in 2019 first Iranian female player and coach Guila Mohajer
