Dominance over season by ZSC Lions is reflected also on individual awards
Roman Wick was voted best forward and MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the 2013/2014 season, according to a survey of newspapers "Tribune de Genève", the"Tages-Anzeiger"and"Bund" made with coaches and captains of NLA twelve clubs.
The ZSC Lions forward finished regular season as the NLA second top scorer with 48 points (23 goals and 25 assists) in 47 games.He has overtaken in the rankings of the most valuable player Lausanne goalie Cristobal Huet and Servette forward Matthew Lombardi
Like on ice, also in the votes ZSC Lions left only crumbs to their opponents.Team also drop the title of best goalkeeper with Lukas Flüeler, the best defenseman with Marc-Andre Bergeron and the best coach with Marc Crawford.Lions also occupy 9 of the 12 spots of the two All-Star Team. 20 years old Latvian goalie Elvis Merzlikins won the award as revelation of the season
