Färjestad beats Luleå

After two losses Färjestad finally gets a win in in Elitserien semi final series against Luleå. Chris Lee scores again.

Two goals late in the first period and great goaltending by Alexander Salak were Färjestad's keys to the win against Luleå. After two losses Färjestad was desperate to get a win in the second home game of the series.

Anders Bastiansen scored 1-0 at 18:26 and Chris Lee 2-0 27 seconds before the end of the first period. This was Lee's seventh goal in eight playoff games.

In the second period the visitors outshot Färjestad 17-6 and got the only goal when Linus Persson beat Salak on Luleå's first power play of the game.

Mikael Johansson made it 3-1 early in the second period and Patrik Lundh secured the win with a 4-1 goal at 51:38.

Luleå outshot Färjestad 31-20 tonight but the home team still got a comfortable win thanks to Salak's goaltending.

Next game of the series is on Thursday in Luleå.
