It's gameday in CHL and Djurgårdens IF, Skellefteå AIK and Växjö Lakers are playing in todays games. Djurgården lost their first game against Tappara Tampere, but will they have their revenge tonight?
Three teams from SHL will be playing tonight in the third round of CHL, Djurgårdens IF, Skellefteå AIK and Växjö Lakers. While both Växjö and Skellefteå AIK are leading their groups, Djurgården had a tough game against Tappara in Stockholm.
Djurgårdens IF
Lost their first game against Tappara Tampere in a tough game that had a lot of situations. Great hockey, nice goals, intensity, individual skills and a fight. By meeting a team from Finland, it gives a little extra energy and you always want to win against the neighbours. -"We lost the game cause of the mistakes we did at Tapparas' goals. But now there's a new game and new preconditions" Stefan Nyman said. Game starts at 17.30.
Skellefteå AIK
Have won both games and are the leaders of Group D. Tonight Skellefteå will be facing HK Nitra and last meeting became a tight one. Though Skellefteå won, 4-2, HK Nitra played well and gave the Swedes some competition. Tonights game won't be any different, but Skellefteå is a strong team at home and therefore Nitra will be facing not only a good team, but also a tough crowd. Game starts at 19.00.
Växjö Lakers
The Swedish champions didn't had any problem defeating the Scottish team Braehead Clan, 10-2. Tonights game will be different though, as the German DEL team Ingolstad visits Vida Arena. Växjö showed in the last game that they are to be reckon with even this year. They are the leaders in Group O and if they win tonight, Växjö will increase their points to three before Ingolstad. Game starts at 20.00.
