National Cup, named after Ruslan Salei, will be played, as usual, before the start of the season

 
 
 
 

The Belarus National Cup, for some years named after Ruslan Salei will be played from 7 to 17 August before the start of championship. As usual, the Extraliga teams, included newcomer Dynamo-Shinnik Bobruisk, were splitted in two groups, the winners of each group will play the final. Last year Neman Grodno was the champion, defeating 5-0 Yunost Minsk in the final. Although it appears among the participants, the fate of HK Mogilev is still unknown due the difficult economic situation of the club
