Lassila’s shutout takes Växjö to semi final
Teemu Lassila's second straight shutout takes Växjö to semi final in their first ever playoff.
Växjö moves on the semi final in their first ever playoff after 4-2 against Luleå. In the sixth game today it was a very tight game in Luleå and Växjö won 1-0 in a game that only had 32 shots on goal in total.
Lassila made 19 saves for his third shutout in the playoff. Erik Josefsson scored the only goal of the game with a deflection late in the first period.
Tomorrow the last quarter final game between Frölunda and Linköping will be played and after that game the semi final match ups will be known.
