The final of the Swedish women's league Riksserien was played today in Stockholm. AIK beat Brynäs 2-1 to win the championship.
The Swedish women's championship was decided in one game only. AIK was crowned 2013 champion after a close game against Brynäs.
Sabina Küller scored 1-0 for AIK in the last minute of the first period. Norwegian star Line Bialik Øien doubled the lead at 25:56. Three minutes later Lina Wester scored the only goal for Brynäs when she beat Minatsu Murase in AIK's net with a well placed shot. The second half of the game saw no goals so AIK won the game 2-1 in front of 850 spectators. The game was also broadcast on national television.
