Long time Ukranian Federation president Anatoli Khorozov passed away today at 87.
"Today, Ukrainian hockey lost his father, the patriarch and the chief. Anatoli took the mission to create hockey in Ukraine and with his work Sokil Kyiv emerged as a top team and won an historic bronze medal in 1985 URSS League, contributing also to national team victories during the '80s" stated a press note from Ukraine Federation.
Khorozov was Ukranian Hockey Federation President from 1965 to 1997 and was inducted to IIHF Hall of Fame in 2006, the only Ukranian to receive this honour
