Ten players suspended by IIHF

The IIHF Disciplinary Panel has handed out suspensions to ten players after incidents in various tournaments.
From the World Championship Ryan Getzlaf (Canada), Jannik Hansen (Denmark) and Koba Jass (Latvia) has been suspended. Getzlaf has been suspended one game, Canada's first game in the next WC, for his kneeing in the quarter final against Slovakia. Hansen is also suspended for one game after a fight in the game against Norway. Hansen will be suspended the first game in the Olympic Qualifying tournament, where Hansen won't be able to play anyway if he remains in the NHL. Jass is suspended two games in the Olympic Qualifiers for his attack on Erik Karlsson in the game against Sweden.
In the U18 World Championship four players were suspended one game each after a fight in the game between Switzerland and Denmark. Melvin Nyffeler, Julian Schmutz, Søren Mortensen is suspended in the first game of next year's WJC while Morten Brodersen is suspended in the opening game of WJC18.
Mongolia's Batzaya Purevdorj was suspended one game for abuse of officials and will miss the first game in the World Championship division 3 qualification.
New Zealand's Ethan Henare was suspended two games for a butt-ending and unsportmanlike conduct in the WJC div 3, as Henare now is overage for the WJC the suspension is for the WC.
The inline player Matic Podlipnik is also suspended in the first game of next year's inline WC after a spearing in the bronze game against Finland in this year's WC.
