October 31th Dinamo Riga established a new unbelievable record in the KHL. The story about it is really fantastic. This had never happened before in the eight KHL regular seasons.
Dinamo Riga wins the game in the shootout 6-5 away to Jokerit Helsinki. During the game Dinamo Riga was down 5-0, but managed to eventually win 6-5 in the shootout.
The left winger of the Dinamo Riga, Lauris Darzins, scored 4 points (1+3) in the game. Forward Mikelis Redlihs scored 3 points (2+1). Forward Tim Sestito scored his 10th goal of the season. It was a historic game in every sense.
Dinamo Riga continue to win. At this moment they have 4 consecutive wins after 6 consecutive losses. Today (On November 2th) Dinamo Riga plays away against Dinamo Minsk. It is last their last before a pause for the International ice hockey games.
