With Champions Hockey League closing in, Eurohockey is presenting the eight teams from SHL that will participate in this this years competition. This is reigning champions Luleå HF.

Luleå HF

Luleå is going in to the tournament as reigning champions, after have defeated Frölunda HC, 4-2, in the final round in COOP Norrbotten Arena in Luleå. In SHL, it didn't go well for the team from Northern Sweden as they were knocked out in the quarter-final round.

For upcoming season, Luleå have signed some great players and among these we will find Toni Rajala, Ilari Melart, Brendan Mikkelson, Jacob Micflikier and Bill Sweatt. By the entrance of a multi-millionaire, Luleå have had the opportunity to recruit a heavy artillery and the hunt for titles could begin.

Luleå is playing in Group K along with Lukko Rauma and Fribourg.Gotteron. There's no doubt that the club is aiming for another CHL-title: -"We're taking CHL very seriously and our goal is to defend the title," Luleå's head coach Joakim Fagerwall said to luleahockey.se.

First game for Luleå is on Saturday August 23rd in COOP Arena, Luleå, Sweden, when they will face Lukko Rauma.
