15 minutes after the victory against US, Canadian PM Stephen Harper claimed his prize on Twitter.
As reported by CNN, about 15 minutes after the end of the semifinal between Canada and USA, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper tweeted to remind President Barack Obama that he now owes him two cases of beer.
Obama and Harper made the wager Thursday morning, each betting a case of beer on Friday's semi-final game, as well as the women's gold medal game, won by Canada 3-2 in overtime
