Riga and Atlant to the KHL Quarter Finals

Dinamo Riga beat Dynamo Moskva in overtime to advance to the next stage. Atlant beat Severstal 1-0 and are also through to the Quarter Finals.

 
 
 
 
Dinamo Riga 2:1 OT Dynamo Moskva
Lauris Darzins scored 2-1 at 15:01 of the overtime to take the Latvian team to the Quarter Finals. Konstantin Gorovikov scored 1-0 for Moskva at 19:20. Brock Trotter tied it at 3:18 of the third period. Both Riga goals were assisted by Mikelis Redlihs.

Severstal Cherepovets 0:1 Atlant Moscow Oblast
Atlant knocked out Severstal in the first playoff round. The sixth game was won 1-0 and the series 4-2. Sergei Mozyakin got the only goal of the game at 26:46 with assist from Oleg Petrov. Konstantin Barulin in the Atlant net made 21 saves.

Dinamo Minsk 5:3 Lokomotiv Yaroslavl
Minsk won the game 5-3 and tied the series against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl 3-3 in front of 15077 fans. Jordan Henry, Andrei Mikhalev, Daniel Corso, Dmitri Korobov and Konstantin Glazachev scored for the home team.

Five of the eight 1/8 final series in KHL are decided now. Lokomotiv-Minsk, Avangard-Neftekhimik and Magnitogorsk-Yugra are still alive. Riga, SKA, Atlant, Ak Bars and Salavat are already qualified for the Quarter Finals.
