In last round Ertis won 3-2 over host Arystan Temirtau that finished as runner up and will face surprising HK Almaty in the bronze medal game. the disappointments were represented by League silver medalist Beybarys Atyrau, that unexpectedly lost first game against modest Nomad Astana (KHL Barys' second team) and was almost frozen out from medal race, and HK Astana, finished fourth out of five in his group after a brilliant pre-season. Beybarys lost also today its last game 2-3 against Arlan Kokshetau
