Coaches and captains from NLA clubs voted for the best of the season
Two newspapers, "Tages-Anzeiger" and "Tribune de Genève", conducted a pool between the coaches and the captains of the twelve NLA teams to determine the awards for 2011-12 regular season. EHC Biel goalie Reto Berra was elected as season´s MVP, thanks to his brilliant perforfance (92,27% saves) during all the season, before EV Zug forward Damien Brunner, first Swiss player finishing as Top Scorer from 1982, and chosen as best forward.
