Unlucky start into February for Dinamo Minsk

In Monday’s three KHL games Metallurg Nk beat Amur in the last minutes of play, Dynamo Moscow was better than Sibir, Torpedo improved their position to the 2nd place in the West.
Amur 1-2 Metallurg NkAmur started their quick home series against Metallurg Nk with a 2-1 loss. Amur get a lead in the second when Jakub Petruzalek scored his 21st goal of the season in power-play. With 26 seconds remaining in the second Alexander Golovin took a pass from Randy Robitaille and tied the game. In the end of the game Metallurg got a lead when Brent Sopel fed up a pass to Dmitry Kagarlitsky who won the game for Metallurg at 58:44. Tomorrow’s game between Amur and Metallurg Nk will finish the pre-ending part of the regular season.
Dynamo Msk 5-3 SibirSibir lost their last chances for playoff after losing 3-5 against Dynamo. Dynamo had a 4-goal lead at 27:37. Denis Kokarev who early today was included in Russia roster for Euro Hockey Tour scored twice, Konstantin Volkov and Leonid Komarov with a penalty shot added to a whole deal. Maxim Ignatovich with a shorthanded goal tried to make a comeback for Sibir at 28:22. It was the first goal of Ignatovich in the KHL. Maxim Krivonozhkin made it 4-2 at 47:09 but 16 seconds later Konstantin Gorovikov returned the 3-goal lead for Dynamo. Anton Malyshev closed the game at 5-3 with 2:12 seconds remaining in the third. Dynamo dominated on the ice most part of the game, outshot Sibir 37-21 and deserved the three points.
Torpedo 3-2 Dinamo MnThe Minsk team lost the third game in their road series and in February. Dinamo got a lead in a rare attack when Daniel Korsco opened the scoring with assists from Charles Linglet and Ladislav Nagy at 08:59. In the end of the first Robert Nilsson used a great pass from Kim Hirshovits to tie the game. Torpedo increased their lead with goals by Martin Thornberg and Ruslan Zainullin in the second and the third periods. Dinamo only managed to cut the lead to one goal by Peter Podhradsky with 49 seconds to play in the third. Both goalies had a lot of work stopping 33 shots but Kevin Lalande faced one more which he didn’t deny.
