MoDo - HV71 4-1

After losing the last game 2-7 to Linköping MoDo came back in a good way and won 4-1 at home to HV71. MoDo are now in sixth place but has played three more games than Färjestad that are in seventh. Rob Schremp made 1+1 today and Anton Forsberg made 32 saves in his first game after the World Juniors. "We had a small meeting when and had rest yesterday. It seems like the guys liked it, today we were good and Anton Forsberg did a very good game", MoDo's coach Ulf Samuelsson said after the game.

Frölunda - Brynäs 4-1

Frölunda only had 19 shots on goal but still managed to score four goals on second placed Brynäs. Brynäs scored the first goal with only 1:47 left to play and 43 seconds later Frölunda made the final score 4-1 with a empty net goal.

Skellefteå - Växjö 4-2

Skellefteå dominated the game with 45-19 in shots but the score was close after some good saves by Martin Gerber who kept the score at 2-0 before Liam Reddox scored Växjö's first goal on a board rebound. Växjö got a great chance to tie the game with a late power play but Pierre-Edouard Bellemare scored a shorthanded goal to make it 3-1. Växjö pulled one goal back again but Bud Holloway secured three points to Skellefteå with an empty net goal. Skellefteå now leads four points ahead of Brynäs. Växjö's first loss during 2012.
