Metallurg Mg 4-0 Avtomobilist
Three goals in the first period helped Metallurg to beat Avtomobilist 4-0 at home. The home team needed only 5 minutes in the first to earn a comfortable advantage. Oleg Tverdovsky, Alexei Bondarev scored in power-play, Alexei Mikhnov added a third goal with 13 seconds to play. After a goalless second period Yevgeny Biryukov closed the game at 43:05 with overplaying goalie Lisutin. Metallurg's Finnish goalie Ari Ahonen made the second shutout in the last three games by stopping 19 shots.
"Last game's loss made us watch our game in another way. We knew that two games with Avtomobilist were the same, and we have seen their last game in Omsk. We prepared to this game seriously," Metallurg head coach Fyodor Kanareikin said to their official site.

Yugra 1-3 Barys
After a winning streak in December Yugra lost for the second time in the new year. Brandon Bochenski opened the scoring after a pass from Jonas Enlund at 28:35. Talgat Zhailaulov in a breakaway with a repeat shot extended Barys lead at 37:29. Yugra tried to catch the away team but only managed to cut their lead. Igor Magogin was first on the rebound after Igor Skorokhodov's shot at 48:05. Bochenski with an empty-net goal led his team to the 4th place in the East.

Atlant 3-0 Severstal
Atlant scored in every period to blank Severstal in a home game. At the second minute Dmitry Upper came into the zone and fired under the crossbar to give Atlant a quick lead. Jonas Andersson extended the lead with a high shot after a pass from Nikolai Zherdev. In the third Alexander Rybakov closed the game with a backhand shot after overplaying Severstal d-man Pasi Puistola. Atlant goalie Konstantin Barulin stopped 27 shots and made the fourth shutout in the season.

Torpedo 2-1 Dynamo Moscow
Tonight's game in Nizhny Novgorod was dedicated to the 65-year jubilee of Torpedo. The home team played in vintage jerseys and made a third period comeback to continue the home game winning streak. Konstantin Gorovikov's shot from the blue line opened the scoring in the middle of the second. At 43:36 Robert Nilsson came into an offensive zone and dished a pass to Mikhail Varnakov who tied the game. And 4 minutes later Maxim Potapov fired after coming into the zone and Semyon Valuisky gave his team a 1-goal lead. Dynamo tried to bring their best to save the game but Torpedo won the 12th home game.

Dinamo Riga 2–4 SKA
SKA won the second time in the season against Dinamo Riga. Viktor Tikhonov got the pass behind the net and opened the scoring at 2:15. 12 seconds later Gints Meija came into the zone and tied the game with a high wrister. SKA grabbed the lead with Fyodorov's goal in the middle of the second. Fyodorov fired on the net and went to the bench when he looked at the net he noticed that he scored. Maxim Rybin didn't score from a penalty shot but a minute later Dinamo got a penalty shot which was converted into a goal by Martins Cipulis. With 20 seconds remaining Maxim Rybin gave a pass through the goalie zone and Gleb Klimenko's skate redirected it into Holt's net to give SKA a 1-goal lead. In the third Tony Mårtensson closed the game with a play on the rebound at 46:21.
