Thailand was outstanding at the Southeast Asian Games in Manila, Philippines, beating Singapore 8-0 in the final.
The tournament win in Manila was quite easy for the Thai team. Six big wins. 75 scored goals and only 3 allowed.
Thailand, of course, won the group stage with 12 points in 4 games. Then followed Philippines (9 pts), Singapore (6), Malaysia (3) and Indonesia (0). All but Indonesia qualified for the semi finals. In the first semi final Thailand beat Malaysia 15-0 and then Singapore beat the 2017 champion Philippines 4-3.
The final between Thailand and Singapore turned out te become another easy win for Thailand. After 3-0 in the first period the game ended 8-0.
Ken Kindborn of Thailand was the tournament's point leader with 10 goals and 18 assists.
