Cardiff Devils win EIHL title

Cardiff Devils win EIHL title

19 Mar 2017Robert Newbolt»

After a season that saw them lead since October Cardiff Devils won the EIHL trophy last night.

After twenty long years and in their thirtieth season the Cardiff Devils clinched the EIHL title, their second trophy this month.

They did it courtesy of a win in Sheffield last night (18th). Throughout the season they have been the team to beat with Ben Bowns in their goal being their standout player in my opinion. They recruited well last year with a mixture of skill and players not afraid to get physical when needs be. It will have helped, also that they were able to stay relatively injury free thus not having to change line matches too much.

Congratulations Cardiff Devils
