The Swedish Euro Hockey Tour tournament Sweden Hockey Games returns in 2017 after two years absence.
Sweden Hockey Games (also previously known as Oddset Hockey Games and LG Hockey Games) is the Swedish tournament of Euro Hockey Tour (EHT). For the last two seasons there have been double headers between the four EHT teams Czech Republic, Finland, Russia and Sweden instead of the Swedish and Czech EHT tournaments, but now they are back for 2016/17. The Finnish Karjala Tournament and the Russian Channel One Cup was played both this season and last and will continue also for 2016/17.
New for next season is that Sweden Hockey Games will be played in Scandinavium, Gothenburg and not in Stockholm Globe Arena as usual.
