Game recap

Fife Flyers made it a four-point weekend as they got their first home win of the season, a two-goal victory over Nottingham.

With no goals in the first period, it fell to Chase Schaber to open the scoring 26:51 into the game. Danick Gauthier made it two ten minutes later, and at 47:41 he struck again to put the Flyers into a three-goal lead.

Mike Cazzola making it four looked to have made the points safe for the Flyers at 50:53, but the Panthers were to make their hosts work for the win. Sam Herr and then Ollie Betteridge pulled goals back for the visitors, however despite pulling Jackson Whistle for six skaters they couldn't force any further way back into the game.
