SKA St. Petersburg scored seven goals away to Amur Khabarovsk to win 7-3. Away wins also for Dinamo Riga and Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk.

Tony Mårtensson, Kirill Koltsov, Maxim Rybin and Viktor Tikhonov scored in the first period to give SKA a 4-0 lead. The teams scored a goal each in the middle period. Dmitri Lugin scored 1-4 for Amur and Yuri Alexandrov 1-5.
Lugin scored again in the seventh minute of the last period but Evgeny Artyukhin and Vitaly Vishnevsky reolied with a goal each for SKA. Amur's top scorer, Jakub Petruzalek, scored 3-7 in the final minute.
This was Amur's third home loss in five days.
