Canada beats Switzerland in overtime to win Group B

Switzerland tied the group final against Canada with 1:22 remaining but Alex Pietrangelo got the last word in the overtime period.
49 seconds before the end of the overtime Alex Pietrangelo scored on his own rebound to give Canada the win of Grouo B and the extra point that can be very important in the next stage.
"The guy took a shot and it hit a stick and then he got it back and put it in on the short side," said the Swiss goalie Leonardo Genoni to iihf.com.
Genoni had a busy game in which he saved 57 of 61 shots. The Canadian goalie James Reimer made 30 saves.
When Chris Stewart picked up a loose puck and scored 3-2 to Canada at 56:46 it looked like the North Americans would win all three points, but less than two minutes later Julian Vauclair behind the net found Andres Ambühl who tied the game.
Andres Ambühl tied the game at 3"We gave up that late goal and we weren't happy about that. But to respond and come back and win the game showed good character", says Canada's Dion Phaneuf.
Switzerland took the lead in the first period through Raphael Diaz but the Canadians scored twice in the middle period. Jordan Eberle tied it and John Tavares scored 2-1.
Eight minutes into the third period Felicien du Bois tied the game for Switzerland.
Canada wins the group and Switzerland ends up in the second spot
