"I am ashamed"

"I am ashamed", said Robert Nilsson after Sweden’s loss against Norway yesterday. The first time ever Sweden lost to Norway. At any level. "It was very sloppy and we didn't play well, so of course you are disappointed."
Sweden had won all games against Norway in World Championships, Olympics U20 and U18 except for in the opening of the 1994 World Championship when Norway managed to get a tie. Last night’s shoot-out win was a historic victory for the Norwegians and an embarrassing loss for the Swedes.
"It's embarrassing. It's a game we should win", said
Robert Nilsson.
"We are very disappointed", says Swedish captain
Rickard Wallin. "We think too that it was really poor. That is no secret. But these things happen in sports".
"We had an incredible amount of scoring opportunities. Norway has almost nothing and they were still in the game. They got it where they wanted", says the Swedish coach
Pär Mårts.
"We are playing a really bad game. I thought we would be much better than this," said KHL defenseman
David Petrasek that was on the ice at all three allowed boxplay goals.
Patrik Berglund scored two of the Swedish goals: "We knew that it would be a tough fight, and it was. They had three power-plays and scores on all three. We had a 3-1 lead and I think we played well. So, out of nowhere, I think we are sloppy with the puck and taking penalties, and then they get the goals. We cannot give them extra energy".
The Norwegian players were happier. The Norwegian success goalie
Lars Haugen says: "It is definitely the funniest match I've played so far in his career. All worked as wolves down there. Sweden had us at the fork in the latter part of the first period, but in the last two, I feel that we almost were better than them. We worked harder and deserved this victory."
