Örebro Hockey have signed Czech Republic player Jakub Petruzalek, 30 and the contract is signed at two years. -"It feels as the team is completed," Pontus Gustafsson, General Manager Örebro Hockey says.
After Derek Ryan left Örebro Hockey in SHL to play in NHL and Carolina Hurricanes, Örebro have searched for a top player to fill his spot and now it seems as they've found it. Örebro announced today on their website, that the club has signed Czech Republic player Jakub Petrulazek to a two-year contract.
Jakub have experience from NHL, AHL, and Czech Republic National Team. Jakub is currently coming from Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in KHL and HC Litvinov in Czech Regional League. In KHL, Petruzalek recorded a total of 124 points in 179 games, so it is a great center that Örebro have signed.
-"It's great that we have managed to sign Jakub. Now it feels as the tam is completed and that we have strong team. We've been looking for a replacement for Derek Ryan and that takes time. Jakub is a fast center with great skills and he can score. The idea of having him in the team, is that he will be one of the leading players in our producing lines," Pontus Gustafsson, General Manager said to Örebro's website.
Jakub will join the team at their training camp in Switzerland upcoming week.
