HV71 confirmed new Headcoach
Today HV71 confirmed Johan Lindbom as the new headcoach. Johan and HV71 agreed on a contract signed to three years.
Johan Lindbom returned to HV71 after several years in HC Dalen in div. 1 as he was supposed to be the headcoach for HV71 J20. But instead of coaching Team J20, Johan stepped up to HV71's first team as headcoach.
- Johan have been a really strong candidate from the beginning and the longer the process went, the stronger Johan became. He's the type of leader we've been looking for and that's why it feels especially nice that he was already in our organisation," Sporting Director Johan Hult said.
- It's going to be really inspiring. Even though HV71 wasn't my youth team, I have strong relations to the club and a big commitment," Johan Lindbom said.
Lindboms two assisting coaches isn't finished yet, but Johan Hult can see a near solution: -"We are talking with a couple of individualsand I'm pretty sure we are in the end of it," Hult says.
