Amur, Lokomotiv and SKA announce new coaches for next season

 
 
 
 

First moviments oh KHL benches for next season: three teams already announced a new guide:

Lokomotiv Yaroslavl will be lead by current Switzerland headcoach Sean Simpson. Canadian Simpson announced earlier that it would not renew the contract with Swiss Federation after the World Championship in Belarus, leaving national team after 4 years and the silver medal at last world Championship as best result. Simpson signed a two-years-contract with Lokomotiv and will be assisted by Colin Muller

SKA St. Petersburg confirmed Vyacheslav Bykov as coach for next season: former Russia headcoach spent last season as GM of Poland national team and will replace not confirmed Jukka Jalonen. also Bykov signed a two-years contract with an option for a further one. "I'm very happy to start working with the SKA team, a team with great hockey history and traditions. I'm also grateful to the club's management for trusting me with this position." said Bykov in the first press-conference

Finally Amur Khabarovsk will be coached by Kazakh Yuri Leonov, last season on Vityaz Chekov bench until January when he resigned.
