The Australian top league AIHL starts April 14 and a new team enters the league - Melbourne Mustangs

 
 
 
 
For the 2011 season a new team from Melbourne joins the AIHL - Melbourne Mustangs. The season starts April 14 with a derby between the two Melbourne clubs, newcomers Mustangs and 2010 Champions Ice, in the Medibank Icehouse.

The 112 games long regular season ends August 28.
