Absolutely a dominant player who scored 34 points and +12 in 30 games before the Christmas break. Great numbers for a defender. In december he made 4+11 in 8 games.
John Tavares (F), SC Bern
John Tavares was a dominant player in NLA during the lockout. In december he scored 5+6 in seven games.
Adam Svoboda (G), HC Škoda Plzeň
He was the third choice in Plzen but now when Rask left and Mazanec got injured Svoboda became a starting goalie and did a great job and won five out five games in December.
Niklas Hjalmarsson (D), HC Bolzano
His arrival completely trasformed Bolzano, now one of the main contenders in Serie A and finalist in Continental Cup. Foxes had an impressive 15 games wiinning streak after the Chicago Blackhawks defender arrived
Pavel Datsyuk (F), CSKA Moskva
Datsyuk was the best player in Channel One Cup where he scored three goals and five assists in three games. In the KHL he had 3+4 in seven games.
Christian Dahl Andersen (F) , Stavanger Oilers
Andersen scored an impressive 20 points (4+16) in 8 games.
