For the fourth game in a row Timrå was held scoreless when they lost 3-0 to MODO. League leader Skellefteå lost big to Linköping. Oscar Sundh scores a hattrick for HV71.
Timrå IK - MODO Hockey 0-3For the fourth time in a row Timrå had to leave the ice without scoring. Today MODO's goalie Bernhard Starkbaum made 30 saves to keep Timrå's disgraceful streak alive. Richie Regehr and Mattias Ritola scored for MODO in the second period and Marcel Müller added an empty netter with a little more than a minute remaining.
Linköpings HC - Skellefteå AIK 6-0Skellefteå came to Linköping with six wins in a row but there the winning streak ended abruptly. Linköping won 6-0 to increase their winning streak to five games. The goals were scored by Mattias Bäckman, Carl Söderberg, Niklas Hävelid, Eric Himelfarb, Sebastian Karlsson and Pär Arlbrandt. Christian Engstrand in the net made 24 saves for the shutout.
Frölunda HC - Luleå HF 1-3Luleå beat Frölunda away 3-1 to stay in touch with the top teams of the standings. After an opening goal by Frölunda's Anton Axelsson, Mika Pyörälä, Toni Koivisto and Joonas Viihko scored for the guests from northern Sweden.
Brynäs IF - HV 71 2-6Oscar Sundh scored three goals when HV71 beat Brynäs in Gävle. William Karlsson got three assists in his first game after the World Juniors. Jesper Fasth, Andreas Jämtin and Marcus Nilson also scored for the guests. Johan Harju and Ryan Gunderson got the goals for Brynäs. After 4-0 at 27:13 Brynäs switched goalies. Färjestads BK - Växjö Lakers HC 2-1Magnus Nygren scored the game winning goal for Färjestad in the middle of the third period when Växjö was defeated 2-1. Chris Lee made it 1-0 for Färjestad in the first period and Tomi Kallio tied it for Växjö in the second.
