Bäckström gives Dynamo Moscow win against Vityaz

A double by the Swedish lockout forward was decisive in Tuesday's win against Vityaz.
For the third time in a row Vityaz Chekhov was close to a surprise against a big one of the KHL but again they lost and for the secon time within six days this happened against Bobrov Division leaders Dynamo Moscow. In front of 4,499 spectators the guests were very agressive and earned a not undeserved first period lead through a power play goal by Vladimir Malevich at 14:16. Shortly before Andrei Mironov had taken a two-minute penalty for tripping that was punished immediately by Vityaz. Around "half time" Nicklas Bäckström was there for the first time when he scored the equalizer for Dynamo with assists by Alexander Ovechkin and Denis Tolpeko. Still Vityaz wasn't yet beaten as they took the lead again at the start of the third period when Alexei Troshchinsky used another power play for the 1-2. The reaction by Dynamo followed immediately and Sergeo Soin and again Bäckström (with assists again by Ovechkin and Tolpeko) made it 3-2 to give Dynamo a five-point advantage over the second-placed in Bobrov Division, SKA St. Petersburg but Dynamo also has played two games more.
