Swift and Radunske get back on the score sheet, Fukufuji can't close the doors indefinitely, Barney has a big night

After the Cranes got shut-out Saturday and High1 got slammed with shots and goals, both teams managed to turn it around on Sunday night.

Anyang Halla vs High1

High1 didn't have a strong performance on Saturday night. They got out-shot heavily and often out-worked. They needed to changed that on Sunday night. Halla knew that High1 would be fighting hard so they also needed to come out strong. The first period opened with both teams showing speed and energy. Halla continued to pour on the shots, while High1 seemed to just hang on at times. Inoue was solid and it was High1 who scored first. Swift scored his first on a delayed penalty call against Halla as he was falling to the ice. Halla didn't waste much time tying it up though as they scored a minute and a half later with Swift in the box for a behind the play trip against Jackman. Radunske got his first of the game and made it 1-1. At the end of the period, Swift scored his second and give High1 back the lead.

Swift scores his first of the night

In the second High made it 3-1 as Barney got his first of the night. Halla got close again as Sang-woo Sin scored his second short-handed goal in as many days. After his short handed goal Saturday night, he sparked Halla's comeback, for a short time, It looked like it may again but Halla was quickly called for a penalty and on the delayed call Eun-Joon scored to make it 4-2 only a minute later. Through two periods, Halla had out-shot High1, 40-17.

In the third, both teams played very aggressively as Halla tried to tie it up. With coincidental minors and two and a half minutes left, they decided to pull the goalie, but at 58:24 High1 scored on the empty net making it 5-2. High1 took an elbowing penalty after that during which Halla scored making it 5-3 but with only a few seconds left, it was too little too late for them.

High1 deflected a lot of shots over the night as many failed to find the net making Inoue's job easier. Halla out-shot them 56-22. To be much more successful Halla must give up fewer goals on small numbers of shots. They also need to work on higher quality shots. High1 managed to win while being heavily out-shot, but a team handicaps itself by trying to do that too often.

Barney had 2 goals and 2 assits on the night, while Dong-hwan had 3 assists for High1. Radunske got involved in all of Halla's goals with 2 goals and an assist, Woo-sang had 6 shots on the night, but couldn't get the puck in the net.

Icebucks vs Cranes

The Cranes turned things around on the Icebucks after Saturday night's shut-out. Nishiwake got the ball rolling early, and despite the Bucks tying it up, they scored two more in the second, and two more in the third. Bonk added one for the Bucks in the third, but he couldn't do it all. The Cranes defeated them 5-2 with Bonk getting both goals for the Bucks. Sakagami had 2 goals for the Cranes. The Cranes out-shot the Bucks 43 to 22. Fukufuji can't save every game and the heavy imbalance of shots must catch up with him sometimes.
