Eagles have 57 shots, High1 has penalty trouble, Inoue can't stem the tide

After Sunday night's 4-3 loss against the Cranes, High1 was hoping to find something positive on their trip to Japan. They knew things would be tough against the Eagles, they just didn't know how tough it would be.

Haruna got the start for the Eagles and Cavosie got them on the board first just seven minutes into the game. Suh tied it up later in the period but that was as close as High1 would get. Despite an even number of penalties and goals, the Eagles outshot High1 18-6.

In the second the game opened up. Nearly five minutes in Cavosie scored again to make it 2-1. Midway through the period Kuji scored, and then High1 got into penalty trouble. First, Hyeok Kim took a penalty for slashing at 32:26. A minute later Kawai also took a penalty for slashing. With 6 seconds left on the 5 on 3, the Eagles scored with Yamashita getting the goal. Bryan Young then immediately took a penalty for roughing. Back on the 5 on 3 this time the Eagles scored 3 seconds before it ended. At 36:17 the last penalty ended but at 37:06 Suh took a penalty for roughing and Kwon took a penalty for interference and a 10 minute misconduct. 44 seconds later the Eagles scored again making it 6-1. They out-shot High1 27-4 on the period.

Early in the third Keller got his second of the game. High1 pulled Inoue and put in Sun-ki Kim the back-up netminder. Very quickly followed by Kuji who got his second, and then Kon who got his only goal of the game. High1 finally got a little more with Ishioka scoring at the 53 minute mark, and Swift finally got back on the board with his first goal in four games. His goal made it 9-3 and that is how it ended. Both teams received coincidental holding penalties with a little over a minute to go.

Cavosie had 9 shots, 2 goals, and 3 assits. Kuji managed 2 goals and 2 assists on 8 shots while Keller got 2 goals and an assist.
