Amur the only home side in 5 KHL matches to win.

For Salavat Yulayev Ufa their current road trip isn't yet that succesful. After their loss in Novokuznetsk they were also beaten by Amur Khabarovsk. Ivan Baranka and Igor Musatov were the only goal scorers in the 2-5 defeat in which their team never found to their usual strength. As they have lost these two games against their direct neighbours at the bottom of Chernyshyov Division, playoff qualification is in real trouble.

SIbir had the big opportunity today to get a five-point difference towards Avangard Omsk in Chernyshyov Division but despite a 1-0 and 3-1 lead they failed to get even a single point. Although Konstantin Glazachev earned the 4-4 equalizer at 51:29 the guests Neftekhimik NIzhnekamsk found a way to score the game winner through top talent Nail Yakupov with ten seconds left to play in regulation.

Metallurg Novokuznetsk had a perfect start with a goal through Brent Sopel at 1:48 but at the begin of the third period Konstantin Korneyev and Alexei Morozov - who scored his 1000th career point - managed to turn the result around for guests Ak Bars Kazan which could keep the four point deficit towards Traktor Chelyabinsk.

It's not really the year of Latvian side Dinamo Riga - second worst team in the KHL table. Against favourites Traktor Chelyabinsk they were in front 2-1 and 3-2 but within minutes Petri Kontiola and Maxim Yakutsenya pathed the way for the away win by Traktor. With 8 seconds to go Vyacheslav Belov with an empty netter decided the match for Traktor.

Another zero point night for Slovan Bratislava. The Slovakian KHL newcomers were beaten at home by CSKA Moscow with the score of 2-3 in regulation. After goals by Alexei Marchenko, Igor Radulov and Yakov Rylov for CSKA and Lubomir Visnovsky and Miroslav Satan for Slovan the game was already decided around "half time". With this win CSKA grabbed the lead in Tarasov Division.
