In Elitserien AIK is getting closer to a playoff spot after the third win in a row.

 
 
 
 
Färjestad got the fourth loss in a row and AIK the third consecutive win when the teams played in Karlstad today.

The home team took the lead in the first period when Per Åslund scored a power play goal on AIK's keeper Daniel Larsson. Larsson wouldn't allow any more goals on this 44-save afternoon. Mattias Janmark-Nylén tied the game for AIK at 5:43 of the third period. The game was tied after 60 minutes and overtime.

In the shoot-out, Nicklas Jensen of AIK was the only player to score as he beat Alexander Salak.
