With a great performance by Greg Hogeboom Alleghe wins semifinals game #2; Bolzano clearly wins in Cortina
Alleghe - Val Pusteria 6-4Four goals by Canadian forward Greg Hogeboom allow Alleghe to tie the series with Val Pusteria. Alleghe coach Steve McKenna criticized the team's power play unit after game #1 and tonight has a great answer: 3 goals with one man more on ice. 40 saves by Adam Dennis complete a quite perfect game for Alleghe, even if "civette" defence made two naive mistake allowing the goals by Joe Jensen (wrong line change) and Joe Cullen
Cortina - HC Bolzano 0-3This time Bolzano first line settles the game with the help of a fit Matt Zaba in the net. Jordan Knackstedt, Stefano Giliati and Brandon Rogers put Bolzano 2-0 in the series.Cortina has Curtis Fraser and Ryan Dingle in good shape but the rest of the team seems tired so the game always stays in Bolzano's hands
