Away wins for Zug and Davos while Kloten has problems with bottom club
SCL Tigers - EV Zug 1:3The top team from Zug had a perfect start in Langnau when Alessandro Chiesa opened the score with just 1:23 played. Not even halfa minute later Tobias Bucher found a way to tie the match for the SCL Tigers but unfortunately for the fans the game didn't continue to produce goals in such a regular span. In the second it was Glen Metropolit who brought Zug back in front and this time the hosts couldn't answer anymore. With four minuites to go in the third Damien Brunner decided everything for the guests.
ZSC Lions - HC Davos 3:4 OTAmazing comeback for Davos in front of almost 10.000 spectators. Around "half time" the ZSC Lions had already a comfortable three-goal advantage after goals by Domenico Pittis, Sven Ryser and Thibaut Monnet but with 34 second left to play in the second Swiss record champion HC Davos showed a sign of life when Robin Grossmann found a way to get his name into the score book. Early in the third Lee Jinman even increased the hope for the guests and when Petr Taticek scored in the 52nd everything started again from the beginning. With the extra self confidence of a team that tied a three-goal deficit, Davos started the overtime where Matthias Joggi earned the game-winner for the HCD after only 23 seconds. As Davos did not win in the regular time they are now even with EV Zug on the first place of the NLA table.
Kloten Flyers - Rapperswil-Jona Lakers 3:2A game between Kloten and Rapperswil on the paper looks like quite an easy thing to predict this year. Although the big favourites Kloten Flyers did win it was a lot of hard work for them. Only in the middle of the second period Mirco Müller and Felicien Du Bois scored within five minutes but only one and a half minutes after the second Kloten goal it was Jordan Murray who brought the Lakers back into the game. Whatever their head coach might have said to the Lakers players to have a come back, Niklas Nordgren did only need 31 seconds in the last period to make it 3-1 in favour of Kloten. In the 57th again Jordan Murray cut distances for Rapperswil but the Flyers defended well until the end of the match.
