Yugra wins again

Avangard Omsk 2-3 SO Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk

The game begins with a mistake of the Avangard goalie Karri Rämö. At 01:03 Ivan Khlyntsev fired from the blue line. The Finnish goalie played not-confident with his stick and got the puck into own net.

Avangard tied the game with a nice sole move from Sergei Kalinin who took the puck in his own zone came through all D-mans and beat Mikhail Biryukov in front of the net at 22:54.

In the middle of the second Dmitry Altaryov with a nice high shot under the crossbar pulled Yugra ahead again. Avangard managed to tie the game again with a powerful shot by Martin Skoula from the blue line at 42:03.

Despite the fact that Avangard had a total advantage with amount of shots the game turned into overtime and then into shootout where with two accurate shots from Ivan Khlyntsev and Igor Magogin Yugra won this hard game.

Yugra goalie Mikhail Biryukov stopped 41 shots for 65 minutes and denied 2 penalty shots at the end of the game.
