Red Bull beat Jokerit 3-2 in the final of European Trophy. Danny Bois scored twice and Akim Aliu got the winner.

 
 
 
 
The Austrian host Red Bull was down 2-1 after two periods against Finnish Jokerit in the final of the 2011 European Trophy. Salzburg started the third period on the power play and seconds after Jokerit was back at full strength Danny Bois tied it from close range with his second goal of the game.

Six minutes later Akim Aliu tied it an a great pass from Michael Schiechl and Salzburg was in the lead for the first time. Jokerit chased the game-tier but at 57:32 they got a penalty and Salzburg managed to protect their net.

Salzburg got a nightmare start of the game when Nichlas Hardt scored after only 10 seconds. Seven minutes into the middle period Alexander Ruutu scored a power play goal for 2-0. At 33:10 Danny Bois scored his first goal and Red Bull was back in the game.
