With the playoffs semifinals to play, Federation decided the season is over at all levels
Following recent government decisions, containment measures and closings of establishments open to the public, including ice rinks until April 15 at least, it seems impossible to envisage the resumption of competitions.
The Executive Office of the French Federation of Ice Hockey (FFHG), meeting Monday, March 16, therefore decided unanimously, for the 2019-2020 season:
- to finish all the championships,
- not to award any champion title,
- to cancel all the promotions/relegations
If necessary to bring a team into a higher level championship for administrative or financial reasons, the Board of Directors will study the club files and the financial status.
On the other hand, and in accordance with the regulations of the FFHG and those of the CHL, Amiens, as winner of the Coupe de France, is qualified for the Continental Cup while Grenoble, as first in the ranking of the season regular, is qualified for CHL.
