No win for Cracovia in the CHL debut
Tonight was the first time ever a Champions Hockey League game was played in Poland, but the visitor Sparta Prague was too strong for Comarch Cracovia.
In today’s
only Champions Hockey League game Sparta Prague got a great start of the 2016
CHL campaign with a 7-2 win away against Cracovia. Tomas Netik scored three
times for the Czech club while Lukas Klimek, Martin Gernat, Petr Kalina and
Michal Cajkovsky scored a goal each. Filip Drzewiecki and Richard Jencik scored
for the Polish side.
Both Czech
players of Cracovia, Michael Kolarz and Petr Sinagl, were held off the score
sheet in front of 7,124 spectators in Tauron Arena.
The third
team of Group O is Färjestad of Sweden.
