Moroccan Ice Hockey Federation organize the first continental tournament among clubs next July in Rabat
The Royal Moroccan Ice Hockey Federation is proud to announce that it will be organizing the first African ice Hockey Cup.
The tournament will be held in Rabat (Mega mall), Followed by an all star showdown in Casablanca (Morocco Mall) from the 24th until 31st July 2016.
The participating clubs will come from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt:
• Morocco: The Casablanca Bears and the Rabat Capitals represented by Mr Khalid Mrini, President of the Royal Moroccan Ice Hockey Federation
• Algeria: The Algiers Corsairs Represented By Mr Karim Kerbouche, President of the Algerian ice and Inline Hockey Association
• Tunisia : The Tunisian Eagles represented by Mr Ihab Ayeb, President of the Tunisian Ice Hockey Association
• Egypt : Anubis and Pharaohs Represented by Eslam Suleyman, President of Cairo’s Anubis Hockey Club
We hope that this cup will be the first of many to come. We also hope that this historic event
will attract more fans and participant and interest to our beautiful sport.
