On Thursday, September 19, 2013, the most talented players and the most prominent personalities of Swiss icehockey will be honored during a gala night in Bern.
Besides the MVP and the goaltender of the year (Jacques Plante Trophy), will also be rewarded the best player in the "Youngster of the Year" category. Who works for the growth and the promotion of young talents will be specially honored Finally the "Hockey Award" category intends to honour Swiss players, coaches or referees for their outstanding performances at international level. In this category one of finalist is the whole Swiss national team, for the outstanding performance at last IHWC in Finland/Sweden, where team achieved a memorable silver medal
The "Most Popular Player" was elected by a public vote on the website 20 Minutes Online.
