The new MOL Liga is born

Just small details are missing, but the 2012-13 MOL promises to be very battling
The next edition of the MOL Liga, the traditional competition with Hungarian and Romanian teams, widen its frontiers including now also the Partizan Belgrade, winner of last two edition of defunct Slohokej Liga and two Slovakian teams, totalizing ten teams, in detail:
Three from Romania:
- ASC Corona Brasov
- HSC Csíkszereda Miercurea Ciuc
- Steaua Rangers Bucharest
Four from Hungary:
- Dab.Docler Dunaújváros
- Ferencvárosi TC Budapest
- Miskolci Jegesmedvék Miskolc
- Újpesti TE Budapest
One from Serbia.
- HK Partizan Beograd
Two from Slovakia:
- HK 38 Dubnica Dubnica nad Váhom
- HC Nové Zámky Ice Tigers Nové Zámky
The main news is the absence of Sapa Fehérvár AV19 farm team. The club did not register for the league even if Hungarian Federation imposes on a club plays in a foreign league to compete also in the same category in the home league. The club asked for an exemption from the Hungarian Federation but didn't received an answer
Also the Slovakian clubs still need the approval from the Slovakian Federation, while Partizan still not resolved theproblem of the use of Pionir Arena with Belgrade city
The league will start early september and ends late march. After the regular season the teams will play quarterfinals (best of 5), semifinals (best of 5) and finals (best of
7). It will be the Hungarian Championship at the same time. The Hungarian Champion will be the team from Hungary which finishes on the best place in the league.
