Visby/Roma responded in the second period, with Elias Lindström scoring at 24:50, cutting Oskarshamn's lead to 2-1. However, tensions escalated when Albin Svedin received a game misconduct penalty for abuse of officials at 33:01, placing Visby at a significant disadvantage.
The third period brought excitement as Visby clawed back into the game. Pontus Karlsson equalized at 48:50, and just moments later, Lindström scored again at 49:34 to give Visby their first lead of the game. However, Oskarshamn's Felix Nilsson quickly tied it at 3-3 at 50:35, sending the game into overtime.
Neither team could find the back of the net during the overtime period, despite several chances. The game was decided in a shootout, where Oskarshamn's Kade Landry and Felix Nilsson converted their opportunities, while Visby/Roma failed to score in their attempts.
Despite a close battle in shots on goal (Visby 37, Oskarshamn 33), Oskarshamn's goaltenders, Emil Kruse and Tomas Rydén, made crucial saves to secure the win. The game ended 4-3 in favor of IK Oskarshamn, with Kade Landry delivering the game-winning shot.
