Game recap

Guildford Flames' third win of the week ensured the race for the Viaplay Elite League title will go down to the final weekend.

The Flames survived another early scare against Dundee Stars to record a 7-3 victory on Sunday night, with former Guildford former Johan Eriksson putting the visitors ahead inside 10 minutes.

However, unlike the previous evening, the Flames turned the game around before the first intermission. Ian Mcnulty poked a loose puck home to try the game in the 16th minute, before a lengthy video review determined that Kyle Locke's shot had gone over the goal line despite the best efforts of Anton Svensson.

Mike Crocock put the Flames 3-1 ahead 3:53 into period two before Daniel Tedesco beat Svensson short side from the circle with 25:29 played. Elijah Barriga pulled a goal back for the Stars before the period was out.

Ryan Tait put the Flames back three ahead 4:05 into period three, but Dundee were back to within two thanks to Jonathan McBean's first professional goal. Sam Marklund's powerplay marker at 48:29 made the game safe, with Peter Crinella finishing the scoring at 55:26 with a superb finish off his knees.
