The reason is upcoming reconstruction of Litvínov's Ivan Hlinka ice rink. Bratislava is looking for €30 mil. for the 2011 WC arena reconstruction

(31 Jan 2011, 13:01) | In the process of the old Ondrej Nepela stadium reconstruction things are going harder and harder. If the reconstruction went well, the arena would be already opened again. But there’s delay and the Ondrej Nepela stadium will be ready for use in April. And this is not the only worry of the reconstruction works investor – the city of Bratislava major Milan Ftáčník – for the payment for the works are 30 millions € missing.  Read more»
