The Russians officially the announced roster for the upcoming Swedish Euro Hockey Tour tournament called LG Games.

 
 
 
 

The Russia coaches Bykov and Zakharkin names a younger team than they had presented on the last EHT tournament in Finland. This is caused by the Russian’s U23 national team project, which has been built in outlook for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games that will be held in Sochi, Russia and what the Russians want to win as well as Canadians did in 2010 during the Vancouver Winter Olympics.

The only post that has met with minimum changes is the spot in the Russian net. For the LG Hockey games 2011 were nominated Vasily Koshechkin, Konstatin Barulin and Mikhail Biryukov, two of them(Koshechkin and Barulin) were representing Russia also on the last EHT tournament Karjala Cup in Finland.
